New Feature Highlights — April 27th Release Notes
We’re thrilled to announce these feature highlights from the April 27th Release
A new integration with Mixmoov for in-browser video editing is now available in BETA
We’re thrilled to announce a new integration with Mixmoov, an in-browser video editing suite, that allows clients to overlay animated text, define cut points, merge two videos together, add transitions, apply filters, and more. This increased online functionality gives our clients an even greater flexibility when it comes to online video. A brief description from the Mixmoov website:
MIXMOOV™ by Intuitivlab is a feature-rich Online Video Editing suite created to deeply engage your audience.
It provides video editing functionality to websites, businesses and users. With millions of new photos and videos going online everyday, MIXMOOV makes it quick and easy for your audience to create great video clips out of these and share them.
Contact us if you’d like to participate in our closed BETA.
New restrictions available when using dynamic stream switching
With our dynamic stream switching technology vendors are able to give their viewers the best quality video stream possible for playback. We’ve now expanded the functionality of our dynamic stream switching technology by allowing users to pick and choose which assets can be included, while restricting others. This means that users can create and store exceptionally high quality encodes (including the original file) without worrying about streaming these large HD files to a flash web server.
We now support out-of-the-box live streaming through Akamai
We’ve added Akamai to our list of pre-integrated live streaming CDN vendors. Customers with an Akamai account can now use their CDN in association with our live streaming solution, and is now pre-integrated within our console. Find our more about Akamai through their website.
