On-Premise Storage

Many organizations that have large collections of media have already made significant investments &ndash in terms of both time and money &ndash in storage infrastructure. Other organizations might have larger mezzanine files and constrained Internet access, making it impractical to push content into the cloud. And while the type of solution might range from a single server with a RAID storage array to a storage area network (SAN), Twistage is able to connect to and use any storage solution, providing a seamless integration.

Secure Remote Storage

While on-premise storage that is accessible by Twistage is secure, organizations with extremely proprietary content can effectively block all external access to content. Twistage can manage content by reference and allows organizations to register remote content by private IP. This content then reaps all of the benefits of being managed in Twistage – metadata managed, searching, sorting, etc. – while remaining completely inaccessible to users outside that private network.
