Organizing Images

As with all products built on top of the Twistage Core Media Framework, the image solution offers an array of tools – both API-based on UI-based – to sort, search, and manage digital assets. The Twistage Image Management Solution allows you to group related images into albums. Users can create their own albums, add and remove images from them, and even order the images inside of them. Albums have titles, descriptions, and other metadata, making it easy to find specifically what you seek. The images themselves also have metadata associated with them, including title, tags, and description.

You can also use the image management solution to find and access images across albums. Building complex queries to find the specific images you want has never been easier. For example, you can request all images tagged with the keyword "baseball," uploaded between March 31, 2010 and April 14, 2010 that are between 100kb and 500kb in size and have dimension of 800x600. Technical users often leverage the REST API to incorporate this kind of functionality into their own sites. At the same time, non-technical people simply need to point-and-click to take advantage of these capabilities.
