History

Twistage traces its roots to 2004, before the YouTube era. In its earliest incarnation, the technology focused heavily on distributed transcoding and managed grid delivery of video via a thin client. On top of this video platform, the Twistage founding team conceived and developed Vlogville.com, one of the web's first UGC video sharing sites. The Twistage video platform officially launched in Q4 2006 and the company has grown steadily since, counting leading media, enterprise, and social media companies among its client base.
